Description
With over 35 years in business, the Delta-T Group has built a reputation for referring highly qualified professionals for rewarding short and long-term independent contract opportunities.Our client is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and reliable Program Assistant/Specialist to be a primary advocate supporting adults with IDD. To provide staff oversight and training in the delivery of each ISP.
CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS & COMPENSATION
* $23/hr.+ compensation depending on Contractor's qualifications, education, availability, and skills.
* Hours: 8am-4pm Monday-Friday
* Client Negotiable Temp-to-Perm.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The Program Assistant/Specialist helps in determining the adequacy of an individual's services and evaluates the individual in all skill development areas to determine strengths as well as programmatic needs. Responsible for monitoring, integrating and coordinating the development of the ISP, prepare monthly reports, etc.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Either: Associate's Degree (or 60 college credits) + 4 yrs. experience** OR Bachelor's Degree + 2 yrs experience** OR Master's Degree + 1 yr. experience** (**Experience must be with IDD/Autism Adult consumers)
* Valid Driver's License with a good driving record and reliable transportation
* Able to assist in lifting over 50 pounds.
* Recent PA State Criminal Background
